GRAIN ROT Platforms: PC, Console, Mac and Linux Status
Windows on Steam is the only currently confirmed release in the retained official store evidence.

GRAIN ROT is currently available for Windows through Steam. The official AppDetails data for App ID 4450620 marks Windows as supported and both macOS and Linux as unsupported. No PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo store product was linked in the retained official evidence checked August 10, 2026.
Windows PC
Windows is the confirmed platform. Steam provides minimum and recommended Windows 10 64-bit requirements, requires DirectX 11, and lists a broadband connection and 10 GB of available storage. The page also marks full controller support, although controller support is an input feature rather than a console release.
Buying the Steam version for a Windows machine gives access to the listed single-player and online co-op modes. Check the live Steam page before purchase because regional price, discount and supported-language presentation can change.
macOS and Linux
Steam’s platform flags were false for both macOS and Linux. There are no Mac or Linux system-requirement blocks in the retained AppDetails response. That means this site should not present compatibility layers, emulation or community workarounds as official native support.
A player may experiment with Proton or another compatibility tool, but a successful individual setup would be community evidence, not a supported Linux release. We have not used such a report to change the platform status.
PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo
No verified product page for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch or a later Nintendo device was present in the official source set. Search suggestions show that people ask about those systems, but autocomplete is a demand signal only. It cannot create a port announcement.
If a console page appears, verify the publisher, release status and product identity before updating. A similarly named product or user-created store listing is not enough.
Steam Deck
The Steam page showed Steam Deck compatibility as unknown when inspected in the browser. “Unknown” does not mean “unsupported,” but it also does not justify a Verified or Playable label. Check the current Steam Deck badge and recent game updates before relying on handheld play.
Evidence status: the Windows, macOS and Linux statements are direct Steam metadata. Console absence and Steam Deck unknown status are dated observations, not permanent promises about the roadmap.
